درس چهاردهم --- اعداد بزرگ در انگلیسی

در این درس، وارد بخش مهمی از گفتار و نوشتار انگلیسی می‌شویم: اعداد بزرگ (Large Numbers). این موضوع به شما کمک می‌کند تا درباره‌ی پول، جمعیت، آمار، و هر چیز با عددهای بزرگ صحبت کنید.

🟩 Using Large Numbers

You usually write numbers larger than 100 in figures (digits).

To say them, you add the word “and” before the last two digits — for example,

👉 110 = one hundred and ten.

🟩 LARGE NUMBERS

You can say either “one hundred” or “a hundred” — both are correct.

But remember: ❌ don’t add “s” to hundred, thousand, or million.

✅ Correct: Three hundred people came to the concert.

❌ Wrong: Three hundreds people came to the concert.

💡 Tip: British English often uses “and” before the final two digits (e.g., one hundred and ten),

while American English sometimes omits it (one hundred ten). Both are correct.
