Talking about your feelings is an important part of everyday conversation.
We often use the present continuous to describe how we feel at the moment.
🟩 TALKING ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS

You can use the verb “to be” + “feeling” + an adjective to talk about how you feel right now.
I’m feeling happy today. 😊
She’s feeling tired after work. 😴
They’re feeling nervous about the test. 😬
We’re feeling excited for the trip. ✈️
This structure shows temporary emotions — how you feel at the moment of speaking.
🟩 HOW TO FORM TALKING ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS

Structure:
👉 subject + am / is / are + feeling + adjective
Subject “to be” Example
I am I’m feeling relaxed.
He / She / It is She’s feeling worried.
You / We / They are We’re feeling confident.
🔹 Use not after am / is / are to make the negative:
I’m not feeling very well. 🤒
They aren’t feeling excited today.
🟩 ANOTHER WAY TO SAY IT — TALKING ABOUT FEELINGS

You can also talk about feelings using “to be” + adjective, without the word feeling.
I’m happy.
She’s tired.
They’re excited.
Both are correct:
I’m feeling happy. ✅
I’m happy. ✅
Using feeling sounds a bit more temporary and emotional, while I’m happy sounds more general.
