در ادامه‌ی درس‌های مربوط به احساسات و وضعیت جسمی، حالا می‌رویم سراغ موضوع جدیدی که در مکالمات روزمره بسیار پرکاربرد است:

Weather – آب‌وهوا

🟦 What’s the Weather Like?

(هوا چطوره؟)

There are many ways to talk about the weather.

You can use the verb “to be” with weather words and phrases

to describe the temperature and conditions outside.

It’s sunny today.

It’s cloudy and cold.

It’s a beautiful day!

🟦 TALKING ABOUT THE WEATHER

(صحبت کردن درباره‌ی آب‌وهوا)

To ask about the weather, say:

What’s the weather like?

To answer, use “to be” with the right weather word or phrase.

It’s sunny. ☀️

It’s raining. 🌧️

It’s windy today. 💨

It’s snowing! ❄️

It’s cloudy and cool. ☁️

It’s stormy outside. ⛈️

💡 Grammar Note:

Use It’s (not The weather is) when talking about general weather.

✅ It’s sunny today.

❌ The weather is sunny today.

🟦 THE TEMPERATURE

(درجه‌ی هوا)

Temperature can be given in Fahrenheit (°F) or Celsius (°C).

In spoken English, we use the verb “to be” to describe how hot or cold it is.

It’s 30 degrees today.

It’s 10 degrees below zero.

It’s really hot this afternoon.

It’s cold in the morning.

💬 Common Expressions:

Boiling → very hot (خیلی گرم)

It’s boiling today!

Freezing → very cold (خیلی سرد)

It’s freezing outside!
