The END

I close my eyes and dream of living in another land. There is no life as you may imagine on this land. Not even soil, sea or sand. Not sure if I still can call it land.

I want to invite someone to come and live with me in my newly discovered land. I don’t want to be alone in my new land. It isn’t my land? You’re jealous or have lost your own childhood fairyland.

I wonder how one can travel to my land if it only exists inside the mind of me, this one-man band. I know! Let’s dream together while laying down on the beach on soft sand hand in hand.

I’ve now completely lost the sight of my new land, swiftly drifting towards your inland. Oh babe, hold my hands tight or I’ll be lost forever in your wonderland.

I think we have now been washed away by high tide, as we swing up and down and side by side. Strangely enough this time I’m not even afraid. It sounds like I’m witnessing first human expeditions in far lands firsthand.

I warn you not to open your eyes. Your face, eyebrows and eyelashes are all covered with white sand. Hold on me in last leg of our journey as we are about to land on a hidden runway in a remote island we can name it our dreamland.

I’m now flying out of my body hovering over magnificent views of this heavenly land. Your shining stars are at my sight and your full moon is in my reach. But where are you? My mind is so dazzling with the idea of you vanishing in my fantasyland.

I wake up suddenly by a beautiful sound of a small bird whispering “hallelujah” in my ears. I see myself so weightless dancing in the air with every light breeze and my body so transparent that even dark lights can shine through it which makes my heart to beat and my mind to freeze. This time I know that at the end I’ve landed on the END.
