درس هفدهم --- صحبت در مورد شهرتان

در این درس یاد می‌گیریم چطور درباره‌ی شهر یا محل زندگی خودمان صحبت کنیم — مثلاً بگوییم چه چیزهایی در آنجا وجود دارد یا وجود ندارد.

برای این کار از ساختارهای “there is” و “there are” استفاده می‌کنیم.

🟢 Lesson 17 — Talking About Your Town

Hello everyone! 👋

Today we’ll learn how to talk about places and things in your town using “there is” and “there are.”

We’ll also learn how to make negative sentences like “there isn’t” and “there aren’t.”

📘 مثال‌ها:

There is a park near my house. 🌳

There are two schools in my neighborhood. 🏫

There isn’t a hospital here. 🚑

There aren’t any restaurants nearby. 🍽️

🟩 “THERE IS” AND “THERE ARE”

از “there is” برای اسم مفرد (یک چیز)

و از “there are” برای اسم جمع (چند چیز) استفاده می‌کنیم.

📘 فرمول:

There is + singular noun

There are + plural noun

📘 مثال‌ها:

There is a park in my town. 🌳

There is a bank next to the supermarket. 🏦

There are many trees in the street. 🌲

There are two schools in my neighborhood. 🏫

🟩 “THERE IS NOT” AND “THERE ARE NOT ANY”

برای منفی کردن جمله‌ها از not استفاده می‌کنیم.

📘 فرمول‌ها:

There is not (isn’t) + singular noun

There are not (aren’t) any + plural noun

📘 مثال‌ها:

There isn’t a museum in my town. 🖼️

There isn’t a bus stop near here. 🚏

There aren’t any hotels in this area. 🏨

There aren’t any parks near my house. 🌳
