Talking About Your Family

Hello everyone! 👋

Today we’re going to learn how to talk about your family in English.

در این درس یاد می‌گیریم اسم اعضای خانواده رو بگیم و درباره‌ی اون‌ها صحبت کنیم.

🟩 4.1 PABLO’S FAMILY

Let’s look at Pablo’s family.

در این تصویر، اعضای خانواده پابلو (Pablo) رو می‌بینیم.

👨‍👩‍👦

Father / Dad – پدر

Mother / Mom (US) / Mum (UK) – مادر

Wife – همسر (زن)

Uncle – عمو یا دایی

Aunt – عمه یا خاله

Cousin – پسرعمو، دخترعمو، پسرخاله، دخترخاله (در انگلیسی برای همه از "cousin" استفاده می‌شود)

Sister-in-law – خواهر همسر یا زن برادر

📘 مثال:

This is Pablo’s father.

His mother is very kind.

Pablo’s uncle has two cousins.

🟩 4.2 MARY’S FAMILY

Now let’s look at Mary’s family.

👩 MARY has a husband (شوهر).

They have two children (فرزند):

a daughter (دختر)

a son (پسر)

Mary also has grandchildren (نوه‌ها):

a granddaughter (نوه دختر)

a grandson (نوه پسر)

📘 مثال:

Mary’s daughter has two children.

Mary’s grandson is 10 years old.

She is a grandmother.

🟩 4.3 SARAH’S FAMILY

Let’s look at Sarah’s family.

Sarah has parents (پدر و مادر).

She also has grandparents (پدربزرگ و مادربزرگ):

Grandfather – پدربزرگ

Grandmother – مادربزرگ

Sarah also has a brother (برادر).

📘 مثال‌ها:

Sarah’s grandfather is old.

Her brother is very funny.

She loves her family.

🧠 نکته آموزشی

در زبان انگلیسی برای اشاره به اعضای خانواده از ’s استفاده می‌کنیم تا بگوییم “مالِ کسی”.

مثلاً:

Pablo’s father = پدرِ پابلو

Mary’s husband = شوهرِ مری

Sarah’s brother = برادرِ سارا
