Anatoly Moskvin was a well known academic from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. Besides being a linguist, historian, journalist, and multilingual (among other things)- he was deeply interested in the dead. Give the man a cemetery and some books about the occult, and he was seemingly on cloud 9.
