A Lovers’ Lane was meant to be an ideal location for frisky teens, starstruck lovers, or a quick hanky panky back in the day. However, due to the isolation— Lovers’ Lanes sadly also became hubs for crime and murder. The Texarkana Moonlight Murders aka “The Phantom Killer” was a string of such, that occurred over a 10 week period in 1946. Innocent lives left traumatized or taken, during vulnerable and intimate moments. Who would do such a thing and why?
